EXAM PAIN



As the End -of Term exams are approaching, most students have become more nervous and worried, feel the exam pain and seek pieces of advice and tips to  help them overcome the exam saga.
Exams -we all know- whether in primary, high and college levels, whatever the forms of the tests are, are pain. However, knowing how best to study and prepare for exams can make it much easier.
Dear students, friends you may be of different types. I know, many of you, not all of you are so brilliant students. Yet, there may be some problems regarding your studies. Many of you may be working hard and getting good marks and some of you may not be working hard but still manage to get high marks in exams, Others may be wondering how it happens? And there will be a few of you study well but still not able to score well in exams.

"How to Prepare for Exam?" A big question that you always ask yourself. Here are some tips that may help you. Don't worry there are some very simple tips by following which you can become master. These tips will tell you 'How to prepare for Exams in Short time', 'How to prepare for a high school exam' as well as a competitive exam and even you can prepare for exams in a week just by following these tips. It will be even better if you follow this for a long period.
Study consistently so you don't have to cram at the last minute. Most students find it hard to be consistent in their studies, but if you go over material daily after you have completed a class, it's more likely to stay with you, and you won't have to panic right before the midterm.

Try to make associations between the material you have to remember and things that you remember easily.  Try to make mental links and connections between various events on your test to help you remember them and perhaps narrow down correct answers.
Ask someone to study with you so that you know the material thoroughly. Instead of studying with a friend, it might be helpful to have one of your parents quiz you on dates, names, definitions or other material.
Get plenty of rest the night before A TEST. There is nothing worse than going to a term exam all sleepy and unable to think clearly. By getting a good night's rest ahead of time, you can cut down on the stress associated with a midterm.
Wake up early and eat a good breakfast. By waking at least an hour or two before a test, you will be more alert and ready to think and less likely to oversleep. Breakfast will keep those annoying stomach growls away, and help you persevere through your midterm. Also,
  • Find a quiet place to study devoid of any distractions
  • Turn off cell phones and any other such devices
  • Have only the study materials relative to the course being tested
  • Set specific study times and stick to the schedule
  • Explain to friends and relatives that you are not to be disturbed
  • Be out of earshot of any computers, televisions, etc.
While everyone studies differently, these basic tips usually work for most people. Some students may actually do better while listening to music or studying outdoors; others find these environments distracting. On the campus, the serenity of a library may be a perfect place to study.
